Sexual Assault & Human Trafficking
If you’re a survivor of sexual assault or human trafficking, you deserve counsel who will advocate for you. Whether you’re seeking a voice in the criminal justice process or pursuing accountability and compensation through a civil claim, you don’t have to navigate the path alone.
Human Trafficking
Trafficking survivors can sue for money damages—not only their traffickers, but also the businesses that profited. Under federal law, a hotel, restaurant, or other business can be held liable if it knowingly benefited from a venture it knew or should have known was engaged in trafficking. California law also allows survivors to recover damages, punitive damages, and attorney’s fees. You may have up to ten years to file a claim, or longer if you were a minor. Lex Grayner Law PC can help you hold accountable those who made the abuse possible, confidentially and at your pace.
